For the past few weeks I’ve been working away on a new idea and now it’s ready to see the light of day. I love short stories and I know many of you enjoy reading the ones I write, but it’s near on impossible to sell (or even give away on Amazon etc) a decent number of copies of short story collections. That means the stories are sitting unloved and doing nothing.
So I decided to give some away direct from the website without the need to subscribe… and that quickly led to my grabbing the domain SciFi-Shorts.com. Then I got a bit carried away. Rather than launching with a couple of stories as I’d planned I’ve gone for FIVE and then another THREE at the end of this week. Eek – that’s tomorrow! Four you may have seen before, but one is a completely new story in the Starflare Universe (Starflare – Shore Leave).
Does this mean I won’t be sending out monthly stories to those who’ve subscribed for updates? No! Not at all! That will carry on, and the next Starflare – Displaced episode will be with you in the next couple of days. SciFi Shorts is something extra.
